Holding a Baby

For years I resisted holding babies. Recently as a means of joining a family I was the first to hold a niece�s new baby.  In an instant I realized the marvel, the mystery and the miracle of babies - a baby is life�s gift to life.  Although a baby does not know what I know, it does exist how I do not exist.  A baby is here. A baby is now. A baby is.  Without thought, expectation or motive a baby is, here and now. Give yourself the present of life�s presence; take a minute just to hold a baby.
